The League Decides Without Atlanta
The NFL has until Tuesday to decide whether Baltimore at Atlanta stays on Sunday night, and the Falcons do not play again before then. Everything Atlanta had to say to the schedule-makers has already been said, and the last thing it said was 35-14 at Lambeau Field.

Bob Pettit Never Played Here. His Number Hangs Here Anyway.
There is a No. 9 in the rafters at State Farm Arena, and the man who earned it never played a professional game in Atlanta. Bob Pettit died Wednesday at 93, and the only championship this franchise has ever won was won for a different city, in 1958.
