National Media Finally Noticed the Braves. You're Welcome.

Yahoo, CBS, Yardbarker — welcome to the party. Tilt published the Sale Cy Young take yesterday. You published yours today. We see you.

Let me get this straight.

Yesterday — April 26 — I published a piece called the Sale Cy Young case. 5-1. 2.79 ERA. 150th career win. Four starts of 6-plus innings with one earned run or fewer. I said 93% he wins it.

Today — April 27 — Yardbarker publishes "Why Braves' Chris Sale Is a Super Early NL Cy Young Favorite." Yahoo drops "Atlanta Braves' Strong Start: True NL Contenders?" Last Word on Sports writes "The Braves Have Their Chop Back."

You're welcome.

20-9. Best record in baseball. First team to 20 wins. Six games up in the East. 8-0-1 in series play. The Phillies — your $300 million preseason favorites — are 10.5 games back with a 10-game losing streak they haven't seen since 1997.

Ellis wrote the depth analysis. I called the Phillies collapse on Friday. The receipts are right there in the archive.

I'm 95% sure the Braves are the best team in baseball — not the NL, baseball — and the national media will spend the next month slowly arriving at the same conclusion we published in early April.

That's fine. That's what local outlets with conviction do. We publish first. They confirm later. The timeline always catches up.

CBS reported the Sale extension like it was news. Battery Power is projecting 84% playoff odds like that's bold. We were at 92% on April 25th.

Bookmark the archive. Come back in October. We were here first.

You're welcome, Yahoo.

The Tilt

Every national outlet arriving at 'the Braves are for real' this weekend is publishing what Tilt told you two weeks ago — and I'm 95% sure they still don't understand how dominant this team actually is.
